Aprilia Motorcycles is the Italian bike company which is owned by Piaggio and it is the fourth largest bike producer in the world. It initially began with the production of scooters and has recently started manufacturing race-winning sportbikes. The company’s flagship models are RSV Mille, RSV4 and V-twin 1000cc superbike. The Company was founded by Cavaliere Alberto Beggio after the World War II in Noale, Italy. They initially started manufacturing 50cc motorcycles and their first production of bikes was Packi, Daniela and Colibri. In the year 1970, they launched a motocross bike called Scarabeo. In 1980s, they launched trials, road bikes and enduro bikes that featured between 50cc to 600cc and the first trial bike was introduced in the year 1981. They began outsourcing engines in 1985 for some models to Austrian Company.
